PuddleDucks is a small family run business, set up in March 2005.

Like most children he loves to be outdoors, regardless of the weather, but even on warm, sunny days he would get soaked just playing in the damp grass. Any waterproofs that we tried either didn’t work or were hot, stiff and uncomfortable to wear. A friend recommended a pair of Waterproof Dungarees from Sweden and life changed for all of us! The dungarees were simply fantastic – aside from the fact that they actually worked, they were very soft, lightweight and comfortable for him to wear. He could now play to his hearts content and we were no longer worried about him being cold, wet or ruining another set of clothes. (Being machine-washable was a huge bonus too!). The waterproof dungarees were soon in demand and hence the idea for PuddleDucks was born!
The children’s range of waterproofs has been so popular that as a direct result of customer demand we added the Adult range of PuddleDucks waterproofs in August 2007, to cover both everyday essentials and more specialised outdoor clothing.
Our collection of unique (and several noisy!) fleeces for children were added in August 2007. The kids fleeces combine wonderfully with our waterproofs ensuring that your children stay extra snug and dry while they have fun outside.

Puddle Ducks are also known as Dabbling Ducks!
They are often seen with their bottoms tipped up as they dabble to feed
in the shallows of the marshes, lakes and rivers where they live. Ducks have waterproof feathers on the outside with soft, fluffy feathers underneath to keep them warm. Their webbed feet help them swim and their feet never feel the cold! Most of the wild ducks that we see around us are Puddle Ducks!
