The zip is front opening to make dressing easier while all the seams are flatlocked for added comfort.  There is a back zipguard to protect delicate skin from the zip.

This UV suits gives a protection factor of UPF 50+ which blocks 97.5% of the sun's UVA and UVB rays. (A typical summer t-shirt only offers 7-15% protection when dry and much less when wet).
