A good children's wetsuit will provide warmth and protection from chilly winds and cold waters allowing your child more time to enjoy playing in the sea and on the beach, particularly in Ireland.

 

Made by wetsuit specialist company Gul, these wetsuits are made of 3mm neoprene on the body for warmth and 2mm on the arms to allow greater freedom of movement for swimming. The wetsuits are lined with a layer of titanium which reflects heat back into the body - a feature normally only seen in high spec adult wetsuits.

 

Unlike cheaper suits the neoprene in these suits is a high quality material that is stretchy which makes the suit both warmer and more comfortable to wear. The seams are flat locked to ensure comfort and the chest and back panels help prevent wind chill.

 

The knees and elbows are reinforced for added durability. The extra long zip pull and ankle straps that open are both designed to make dressing easier.
