Atec is a Polyurethane-coated stretch fabric. It is a fantastic material for children’s waterproofs as it is very light, soft, tear-resistant and allows a full range of motion. It washes extremely well – even covered in mud it can simply be wiped down and hung up to dry. When machine washed it looks like new! The material can appear creased when brand new but any creases quickly drop out.
All of our children’s waterproofs are made of this material excluding the Explorer Jacket and the Trailblazer Jacket which are made of the Airways Material.
The Airway series is manufactured from Abeko’s most exclusive materials. Polyamide and polyester fabrics that give full protection from wind and rain while being completely breathable. Wonderfully lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Fully waterproof and windtight fabrics with a polyurethane coating. Lightweight and comfortable to wear the durable materials tolerate normal temperature changes and are easy to wash.
All our waterproof clothing has either heat sealed or taped seams and is waterproof to a minimum standard of 2,000mm
